2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

DRC provides online dyslexia trainer certification programs, including:

• Free Access: First lesson of the Dyslexia Certificate course at no cost
• Monthly Tuition Plan: Monthly subscription access to complete certification program
• Full Tuition Package: One-time payment for complete certification program access
• Post-Certification Membership: Annual membership for certified trainers ($99/year)
• Training Software: Access to Learnedy, Wordformation, Training Center, and other specialized tools
• AFS-Test: Standardized educational assessment tool (restricted to certified trainers and students in training)

3. PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 Pricing Structure

• Free Access: $0 (permanent access to first lesson only)
• Monthly Tuition: $39.90 per month (regularly $79.80, 50% introductory discount)
• Full Tuition: $450 one-time payment (regularly $900, 50% introductory discount)
• Annual Membership (post-certification): $99 per year

3.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through our designated payment processors
• Monthly subscriptions are automatically charged on the same date each month
• Failed payments may result in service suspension until resolved
• You are responsible for maintaining current payment information

3.3 Price Changes

• DRC reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• Price changes do not affect existing full tuition payments or current monthly subscription rates until renewal

• "Dyslexia Trainer" trademark (created 1996)

• Website design and user interface

5.2 Restricted Use of AFS-Test

Upon successful completion of certification, you receive:

• Right to use the "Certified Dyslexia Trainer" title and logo
• License to administer the AFS-Test for professional purposes
• Ongoing access to training materials for personal professional development
• Membership eligibility in the American Dyslexia Association

5.4 Usage Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or sell any course materials
• Share login credentials or course access with others
• Use materials for competing educational programs
• Reverse engineer or copy our software or assessment tools

6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT

6.1 Account Security

• Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

6.2 Academic Integrity

• Complete all coursework personally and honestly
• Do not share quiz answers or assessment solutions
• Plagiarism or cheating may result in immediate termination without refund

6.3 Professional Standards

As a student and future certified trainer, you agree to:

• Maintain professional conduct in all interactions
• Respect the confidentiality of case studies and materials
• Use knowledge gained responsibly and ethically

7. CERTIFICATION AND COMPLETION

7.1 Certification Requirements

To receive certification, you must:

• Successfully complete all 48 lesson quizzes
• Pass the practical diploma examination
• Complete the program within the maximum 2-year study period
• Maintain good standing throughout the program

7.2 Study Period Extensions

• Fee-based extensions beyond the 2-year maximum may be available
• Extension requests must be submitted before expiration
• Extension fees and terms will be communicated upon request

7.3 Certification Validity

• Upon successful completion, you receive official certification as a "Certified Dyslexia Trainer"
• Certification is valid indefinitely but annual membership is required for continued access to testing materials and updates

8. PLATFORM AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

8.1 Device Compatibility

Our platform is accessible via:

• Desktop and laptop computers
• Tablets (iPad and Android)
• Smartphones (iPhone and Android)
• Modern web browsers with internet connectivity

8.2 Technical Support

• We provide reasonable technical support for platform issues
• Students are responsible for maintaining adequate internet connectivity
• We are not liable for losses due to technical difficulties beyond our control

9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

9.1 Student Information

• We collect and store student progress, assessment results, and account information
• Personal information is protected according to our Privacy Policy
• Academic records are maintained for certification verification purposes

• Full tuition: Access continues for maximum study period or completion

11.2 Termination by DRC

We may terminate access for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Academic dishonesty or misconduct
• Non-payment of fees
• Illegal or harmful activities

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Access to course materials ceases immediately
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy
• Completed certifications remain valid

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
